Exhibition helps young connect with a career
The fire service and the NHS were among the scores of organisations at a careers fair for young people.
Hundreds of year 11 students and their parents attended yesterday's Your Choice exhibition at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. They talked to representatives from schools, colleges, employers, training providers and professional bodies about their options after their GCSEs.
The event is organised by the teenage information and advice service Connexions Oldham. It was revamped this year to place more emphasis on long term career options.
