All The day brings together all agencies working with children and young people in Oldham, and provides a free day of fun activities, and most importantly everything is free.
On offer on Saturday are face painting, dragon boat racing, arts and crafts activities, go-karts, live music, jungle runs, graffiti art, dance workshops and a youth café.
'The Alliance fun day is all about encouraging young people and families from different communities to come together to one central location, and have a day of fun. There are loads of activities, something for everyone, and everything is free. This year the fun day also teams up with Oldham Borough Games, where young people can compete in sports activities in local area teams in tag rugby, football, cricket and tennis, so there is plenty to do for anyone attending.' Comments Laura Windsor, Alliance Development Officer.
Local partners such as the police, fire service, youth service, Oldham Play Action Group, and Oldham Libraries are all providing activities. The event is funded by Big Lottery
