Oldham Children and Youth Alliance are hosting their annual Fun Day on Saturday 21st June at Alexandra Park from 11.00-4.00pm, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The day will feature live music from Oldham’s most talented young rock bands, as well as demonstrations from The Oldham Jets Cheerleaders.
Oldham Children and Youth Alliance Development Officer Laura Windsor comments;
’The fun day is all about bringing together all local organisations working with children and young people into one place, working together to provide a day of free entertainment and activities for everyone to come and enjoy.’
‘We want, children, young people and families from all the communities of Oldham to come together, share new experiences, enjoy all the free activities on offer and have fun together.’
Representatives from The Police, Groundwork, Oldham Fire Service, Connexions and Oldham Council will be putting on a range of fun activities for the whole family, and the day will also feature;
- Dragon Boat Racing
- Face and Henna Painting
- Pedal-Karts
- Inflatable Olympics
- Dragon Making
Arts and Crafts Workshops
