Search for the heroes
A search has been launched to find the unsung heroes who are helping tackle drug abuse in Oldham.
The Home Office national awards scheme aims to find the drug worker and team of the year, and the people of Oldham are being asked to make nominations.
The awards are open to all public and voluntary sector workers.
Kay French, head of Oldham's drugs action team said: "Last year in Oldham almost 1 000 people entered treatment and we expect to be able to help more this year. There are many individuals and teams that are making a difference".
